ENERGEIA deals with issues of epistemology and methodology in economics. In order to increase the understanding of the philosophical and methodological foundations of economic science, it promotes collaboration between philosophers, methodologists, social scientists and economic scientists - mainly economists and management administrators. ENERGEIA encourages dialogue with other disciplines, such as action theory, political philosophy, ethics, sociology, social technologies, artificial intelligence and the history of science.
